Maharashtra RTE 25% Admission 2025-26 Lottery Logic: The online admissions process for RTE Maharashtra for the academic year 2014-15 employs a lottery system to allocate schools, which is currently in the provisional phase. The lottery is specifically utilized for schools that have received more applications than their designated capacity under the 25% reservation policy.
All eligible candidates are taken into consideration for placement in their preferred schools, without any exclusions after being assigned to a particular school. Applicants who have submitted applications to multiple schools may be assigned to all of their selections or a lesser number than the total applied to.
Preference is given to candidates residing within a 1km radius of the school during the allocation process, followed by those within a 2-3km radius of the schools they have applied to. Once candidates within the 1km radius are accommodated, any remaining vacancies are filled through a lottery system for candidates residing within the 2-3km radius.
