Department of Employment and TrainingDE (DET) TN ITI Admission 2024: The Department of Employment and TrainingDE (DET) TN ITI Admission 2024 announces the opening of enrollment for vocational training institutes (ITI) in Tamil Nadu for the year 2024. In the state, there are a total of 102 Government Vocational Training Centers and 305 Private Vocational Training Centers under the purview of the Employment and Training Department. The online recruitment process for coaches for the upcoming academic year 2024-2025 was successfully completed by June 28, 2024.
For aspiring students, direct admissions are available to those who have completed either 8th or 10th grade. The enrollment period for these vocational training centers will run from July 1, 2024, to July 15, 2024. Prospective students are encouraged to personally visit the centers with their certificates to select their desired profession and kickstart their vocational training.
Over time, a considerable number of apprentices who have received training at vocational institutes in Tamil Nadu have secured employment in various renowned industrial establishments. These Government Vocational Training Institutes offer apprenticeships in modern industries, including those meeting Industry 4.0 standards essential for today’s industrial setting. TN ITI Admission 2024: How to apply online?
To enroll in Tamil Nadu ITI Admission for the year 2024, applicants must carefully review the instructional video and manual before completing the application form. Original certificates must be ready for submission at the vocational training center during admission to avoid disqualification.
Applicants are responsible for the accuracy of all uploaded information, as discrepancies may lead to rejection by the relevant authorities at any stage of the process. When completing the application, ensure you have the following documents readily available: Candidate’s Name, Email Address, Phone Number.
It is crucial to provide a valid and unique email address and phone number, as these cannot be changed and will be used for future communication. Make sure these details are not already in use on the website. The Date of Birth should confirm that the candidate is at least 14 years old by 01.08.2024.
Include information about Community/Caste (ST/SCA/SC/MBC/DNT/BCM/BC), and an Aadhaar number is a mandatory requirement for the application process.

TN ITI Admission 2024: Required Documents
Kindly provide the necessary details to make the online application fee payment (Debit card/credit card/Gpay/Net banking). Specifically for the year 2021, it is required that only parents of 10th-grade students register the marks obtained in the 9th grade. Ensure you scan and store the listed certificates in JPEG format with a file size falling between 50 kb to 100 kb. These certificates include:
- Mark Sheet of 8th/10th grade
- Transfer Certificate
- Community/Caste Certificate
- Priority Reservation Certificate
- Migration Certificate (applicable for candidates originating from other states).
Additionally, prepare and scan passport-sized photographs and signatures in JPG format as follows: Photo (50kb to 100kb) and Signature (10kb to 20kb). Please note that the EMIS No. can be found on the student’s Transfer Certificate or School ID card.
