Tamil Nadu State Scholarship Portal 2024-25: The Tamil Nadu State Scholarship Portal 2024-25 offers a centralized platform where all scholarship schemes provided by different state departments are consolidated. This portal, known as TNSSP, is designed to simplify the scholarship distribution process by providing an all-in-one solution.
With features like online student registration, application verification, and scholarship disbursement through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), TNSSP ensures a smooth and efficient process. Important Notice: To initiate the Scholarship Application procedure, it is mandatory to possess a valid UMIS ID generated from the UMIS Portal. If you don’t have an UMIS ID yet, reach out to your Institute’s UMIS Nodal officer for guidance on enrolling in the UMIS Portal.
Guidelines: BC/MBC (Institutions) applicants opting for the fee recommendation route must submit all required documents to the designated DBCW by May 20, 2024. Meeting this deadline is crucial to ensure the prompt processing of your scholarship application.

Announcement – Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department
The Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department joyfully announces the commencement of accepting new scholarship applications for the academic year 2023-2024 from eligible first-year SC/SCC/ST students, starting on 01.02.2024. To be eligible for the scholarship, it is crucial that all SC/SCC/ST students complete and submit their application forms by 31.07.2024.
Furthermore, the process for renewing scholarships for current recipients has been initiated on 18.12.2023. Educational institutions are urged to validate and update the academic information of students promptly and submit the renewal applications without delay.
If any students are not included in the renewal list, they will be treated as new applicants. Institutions must register these students in the University Management Information System (UMIS) to ensure they are in the running for the scholarship grant.
