NSE Holidays 2024: 1st Nov Special Market for Diwali!

What is Diwali Muhurat in the stock market, you may ask?

Muhurat trading is a special trading activity that takes place in the Indian stock market on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, also known as Deepawali, which is one of the most significant and celebrated festivals for citizens of India. This festival, which symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil, is not just a time for joyous celebrations, but also a period when many traders wholeheartedly believe that participating in Muhurat trading brings good luck and positive fortune for the entire year ahead. During this festive time, regular stock trading is paused to honor the celebrations, but Muhurat Trading is uniquely open for a brief yet meaningful one-hour window, allowing traders to mark the occasion with their investments and hopes for prosperity in the upcoming year.
