They must then enter their residential address and proceed to choose the appropriate Assembly constituency (Vidhan Sabha) and Locality/Sub-Locality/Sub-Sub Locality from the provided drop-down menu. By submitting this information, they will receive a list of nearby schools categorized by distance ranges (0-1, 1-3, 3-6, >6 Kms.) upon clicking on the Step-2 to Step-5 buttons.
Should a specific Locality/Sub-Locality/Sub-Sub Locality not be listed in the drop-down menu, individuals are advised to select the nearest available option. They may select up to six schools within a 6 Km radius, with a maximum of five schools situated beyond 6 Kms.

2025-26 Delhi RTE School Admission Age Criteria

Parents who wish to enroll their children under the EWS/DG category must ensure that their child meets specific age requirements for the Entry Level Classes. Children applying for Nursery/Pre-school should be aged between 3 and 5 years as of March 31, 2020. Similarly, for KG/Pre-Primary, the age range is from 4 to 6 years by the same date. For admission to Class-I, children should be within the age group of 5 to 7 years by March 31, 2020.
