TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Vacancy Details 2024

We’re on the lookout for Category-I Graduate Apprentices in Engineering and Technology, particularly in Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. There are 18 apprenticeship positions open for eager candidates. Each apprentice will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.9000, offering some financial relief during this training journey. This program lasts for one year, allowing apprentices to acquire essential practical skills in their respective areas.

Additionally, we have openings for Category-II Diploma (Technician) Apprentices in Engineering and Technology, focusing on Mechanical or Automobile Engineering. A total of 61 positions are available for those ready to dive into a specialized field. During their training, each apprentice will earn a monthly stipend of Rs.8000 to aid in their educational pursuits. This one-year training program is designed to provide substantial hands-on experience and knowledge in their selected discipline.

TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Qualifications 2024

Category I Graduate Apprentices need to have a full-time degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university in the appropriate field. They may also be eligible if they possess a degree in Engineering or Technology from an institution authorized by Parliament, or if they have passed a graduate exam from professional organizations acknowledged by either the State or Central Government as equivalent to these qualifications.

In contrast, Category II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices are required to hold a full-time diploma in Engineering or Technology issued by a State Council or Board of Technical Education set up by the state government within the relevant field. They can also qualify with a diploma in Engineering or Technology from a university in the relevant discipline, or a diploma granted by an institution that is recognized by the State or Central Government as being on par with the mentioned qualifications.

TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Selection Procedure 2024

The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is tasked with compiling a shortlist using the information provided in online applications. Selection of candidates will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the necessary basic qualifications for their specific fields. Individuals who are shortlisted will be informed via their registered email. Following this, these candidates are required to participate in a Certificate Verification session at TNMVMD in Chennai.

How to apply TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment 2024?

If you’re a student who has previously signed up on the old National Web Portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and have your login details, please type “A.”

Step 1:
a. Visit the link: https://nats.education.gov.in
b. Select the option for Students
c. Click on Student login
d. Hit the Forgot Password link
e. Enter your registered email address to get the activation link for resetting your password.

Step 2:
a. Log in as a student
b. Input your registered email and set a new password
c. Complete the application form
d. You will receive a unique Enrollment number (12 digits) assigned to you.

Once you finish the enrollment process in the new portal migration:

To submit an application:
a. Log in with your email and new password
b. Go to “Apply against advertised vacancies” and search for “TAMIL NADU MOTOR VEHICLES MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT”
c. Click on apply. You’ll see your status change to “applied.”
